Grey Skies, Grey Thighs
I love grey. Maybe it’s because I live in London (the Big Smoke), but it’s the one neutral that I always come back to again and again. That’s right, Olwyn ain’t your typical black black black clad fashionista. I’mespecially interested in the coziness that’s associated with grey cotton and flannel together at this moment in time. Or, the tights from Bebaroque.com, which are really interesting and often jewelled (ornate, much like the Bar0que era in fashion, decor and architecture). These tights would be interesting to pair with something else, because they’re almost like jewelry. Wow, I haven’t written this much since my dissertaion. And that was under duress. Take a look at these pieces.
I like them a lot and obviously there’s a lot you could do with tights like this, but sometimes I wonder if the prices aren’t too steep. I mean, some of these pieces are well into the ££ range, whereas I could get something quite similar in Camden for maybe a £10 total. And let’s face it, they’re TIGHTS. What happens when they run? Are they reinforced to prevent that from happening? Do they give you your money back on some kind of warantee policy? Is there a matching set of earrings that comes with them?
Anyhow, let me know what you think. I know you’re out there. olwyn.

Fashion is my Religion
Enter Topshop Oxford Circus, descend to the bottom floor, and you’ll see one of the pillars of my fashion religion. It’s Religion, and it’s a shrine to good taste. Be a witness with me, people. Olwyn.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN rests, but his legacy LIVES
I can’t really explain how great this man was, you have to look at his work for yourself. This is the finale of his Autumn/Winter show in 2006. It’s a HOLOGRAM OF KATE MOSS. HELLO. Olwyn.

She’s very American, but something about her fits in to the London scene of rock and free thinking. It’s Juliette Lewis and we love her style here in London.

PUT A CAP ON IT
Hats can make or break an outfit. I might be biased, but I’d like to assert that Londoners almost always get it right. Good taste is global though… so here are some of my favourite examples of hats from London, Milan, Stockholm and New York. All in a day’s work here at londonfashionrocks. olwyn
